youve caught the soft folds of the petals beautifully but for me no3 is the winner hands down. Love the details of the stem going into the petals and the soft blending of the colours, as well as seeing something ordinary from an unusual perspective ... very nice

Having just processed a dafodil for posting in my latest thread, I know that they can be a real challenge to capture without blowing highlights.

Martyn, I feel that you have succeeded here, up to a point, but you have almost blown the highlights especially in the first two, probably recoverable with a little further processing.

Try making a new layer, then a mask on which you can paint adjustments selectively.......choose EXPOSURE, use the slider to lessen it a bit, then use the middle slider to increase clarity....then use a soft brush and your chosen Opacity to bring life back into your over exposed petals only.

If that doesnt work, try using CURVES  in the same way instead......or....... a combination of both, on diffrent layers......buld your pics bit by bit.
