BIG DECISION TO MAKE?

Recommended Posts

For some weeks now I have been looking seriously to upgrading from my wonderful second hand bought GF1 , to the amazing brand new PANASONIC GX7 ......it has an integral Electronic Viewfinder ...... My boss is slowly coming round to the idea because she appreciates that I may need to rely on a viewfinder when I have only one eye whilst recovering from surgery........There are other good financial reasons too.

I have been negotiating with the Leamington branch of ....The London Camera Exchange.....I want to handle the camera, to test the viewfinder before buying, apparently there has been a great demand for the model and PANASONIC are mucking about with distribution since the recent Camera Show at the NEC.

I will only need the body, because I already have dedicated lenses, I also want assurance that I will be able to claim the 100 quid cash back deal which runs out in ten days time......I am also pushing for a complimentary SD card because I've explained to the manager that I could go to AMAZON.

But I really want to see how I Cope with that viewfinder.......it will be a huge step for me, and my biggest sound since I acquired my SONY A55 three years ago. That has an excellent EVF which I enjoy using, but can be too bulky to carry around on a daily basis.

I had to rationalise the fact that, money in the bank is earning hardly any interest, have too much in and it gets taxed, and Im getting older, so propose to spend a bit of my funeral money ;-)

I won't care then will I? No pockets in a shroud!

Chris......

What is 16K?

What is 10K?

I've got nowhere near the latter.

As I said......I will be spending a little of the dosh I have put by for my funeral..........I would rather have a camera I can use with my one eye, than a fur lined shroud ;-)
