Stained glass reflections...

Inside Lincoln Cathedral today the sun was just pouring through the stained glass window, creating a rainbow of colours on all the pillars on one side of the building.

Yours are much more dramatic than the similar effect I once saw in Exeter, Annie.

No Colin, It was not happening yesterday, partly due to all the work that is going on and also because the Duke of Kent was wandering around and the place was crawling with police and security...........trust him to turn up on my day out..tut!

I have just noticed on the pamphlet you pick up on your way into the cathedral that the cover picture is of the same subject, only the reflections are on the floor...I never noticed the floors I was far to busy looking up at the wonderful stuff above my head....
