yup 3 of em......

I feel sad at not having more animals after my two last ferrets have gone, but I have to be realistic about my age so will just have Evie when they have gone.

I used to have three cats and two dogs all at once, ias well as my sons gerbils and tree crabs, my rats, hamsters, tortoise.

When I was fostering for the rescue and they were over-flowing at one point, I had fifteen ferrets and they were all fetched back into the house after their different groups playtimes in the shed and run.

We got into a great routine. lol

I loved every minute of it, and have many happy (and sad) memories.

Animals are good for the soul and I think it's good for kids to have pets.

I think that's the reasoning behind the Totnes 'Cat Café'.

What's that?

It's a lovely idea - I went there the first time yesterday. It's basically a café with a dual-door entry system (to stop the cats wandering into the High St) - you go in, and there are armchairs everywhere and around half a dozen very handsome moggies. You buy your tea/coffee whatever and you stay around and make friends with the cats. The said mogs were absolutely fascinated by my mobility scooter, but the owner says they are like that with all scooters and wheelchairs.. they must carry the smells of the town on their wheels I suppose!

At some point I will post a series of photos of Mango (a ginger and white) having a good sniff around my scooter.

It's a very soothing and relaxing experience.

I would love to take both Korky and our Phil in there........both of them LOVE???............Moggies ;-)

Seriously though, one or two moggies when I'm out and about is enough, but more than that in one establishment Im not so sure about??
