I am getting so much mileage and pleasure from using the £20 Chinese lens on my GF1 M4/3....as you can see, it has amazing DOF, which takes quite a bit of controlling.

The green glass is part of a set bought for me as a Christmas present four years ago at an English Heritage History Fair.....they are authentic replicas from long ago, hand blown in Prague....I love them to bits:

I am sure here is much more I could do if I set this camera/lens combination on a tripod?

Yes?

I see what you mean......I wanted to leave that bit of bottom reflection in though, hence my crop......I will take another look at the original to try again.

Thank you all for the helpful comments.

I think it's a great shot.

However I do take exception to the phrase "amazing DOF" - there's hardly any there!!! Presumably you meant it's got "very shallow DOF"? (Yes I know, I know. I won Pedant of the Year award in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009...)  :innocent:
