I decided to stretch the boundaries of my Photographic Art this afternoon by putting two extension tubes behind my twenty quid Chinese 35-1.7 lens.

 

It was a very real challenge to get anything in focus because if the extreme shallow DOF...................this is the inside of, what I think are some kind of lily, part of a birthday boquet my wife received.

 

The very gentle softness of these should appeal to viewers, who will be attempting to understand what it is they are looking at....but to me....it doesnt matter:

 

Following Leon's strategy, both are....Straight-From-Camera....as far as size is concerned..............absolutely no cropping, but they have had a touch of ...Contrast Grading and very Selective Sharpening:
