Thank you folks.

 

My subject is standing against a recently painted white wall, I often just stand to see if an interesting person or group pass in front of it, or  (hopefully) a skate boarder or someone jumping.

 

Trouble is, where I need to stand is on a very busy pavement very close a junction on the main street so I would soon become an obstruction much to the annoyance of fellow pedestrians:
