One of the magnificent Snow Leopards at Twycross Zoo.........................One wall of the restaurant consists of a clear glass barrier between diners and their large enclosure.....................currently there are a pair of adults and three May born cubs:

A really good study Fuji - but what's causing that area of brightness under its chin?

Thank you Chris,

I mentioned the great difficulty of shooting through thick plate glass ( probably double glazed too ) that is tilted Insted of being vertical, I can only imagine that the brightness is a strong reflection off the outside window sill.....it might amuse you to know, that as soon as I took the, second, closer shot of him he turned his backside toward the window and everyone in the cafe to spray it with urine......just to show what he thinks of being captive.

I could clone the patch of brightness away I suppose?

The canted plate glass and strange zoo lighting gave me problems all day, something I will prepare for next time a I visit.

You did well to get the shots that you did. it was like that at Dudley earlier this year, and only editing could bring out the features of the animals.

I went there a few years ago with my daughter-in-law in the summer and the animals have some lovely outdoor space.

One of the best zoos that I have ever been too because of the amount of freedom that they have, but I guess in winter they have to keep most of the animals warm because of the climates that they originate  from.
Were there any animals outside ay Twycross.

Yes, quite easily, using the surrounding fur.
