I took scores of photos of this monument and the view over the city of Edinburgh, I battled against the sun which was low and strong. Then for just a few short minutes the great orb of light was obscured by cloud, just long enough to get these two shots.

Has there been any HDR at any point, either in-camera or PP ? (Love the first two shots).

 

No, no HDR at all, but I have edited the RAW images in Lightroom 5.2. I'm a big fan of Serge Ramelli on Youtube and have been following his tips on photo editing, he has been a big influence on my photography.

Bookmarked. I don't have Lightroom but I do use Photoshop, so I'm sure there's a lot for me there.
