Strange light at Wells-next-the-sea

This was a rather surreal moment, walking out from the town towards the beach (If you know Wells, you'll know where I was) and I turned to look back and saw this scene.

The looming clouds contrasted with the light on the mud, although not much direct sunlight, giving a somewhat strange look.

This is NOT an HDR effect, this is almost straight from camera.
