Hi, Nanny,

Friends if mine were going to the Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, to order a TV set, I was invited along for the ride ( and to get the coffee's in ;-).......I had an hour to kill, whilst they chose then ordered their new TV.

For the first half hour I was happy to wander around just looking, then,I remembered two things......1: The recent Thieves Caught on CCTV ......program on TV, that revealed that, people not obviously shopping were targeted by security as being suspicious ....then 2: My recent negative run in with security staff at the West Orchards shopping centre in Coventry.

Soooo, I decided to be bold and ask at the security/information desk for permission to use my camera without arousing security concerns.....IT WORKED!...........the staff couldn't have been pleasanter, I was granted permission, as

long as I didn't shoot shop fronts., which is why a I concentrated on the modern roof and interior detail.

My second half hour passed by all too quickly, because I was enjoying myself......I used my trusty little LX5.

The building is very eye-catching, and that little camera certainly gives good service, doesn't it?
