A great shot of an excellent locally made Tractor...........living just five miles from where they were designed and manufactured, I remember the first of the little grey tractors moving through on transporters, all had the patented hydraulic hitch and lift? system at the back......I remember that farmers loved them. Two of my current friends worked at Massey Ferguson in Coventry, they too have find memories of being part of this very important icon of agriculture.

John worked there too, but he joined the workforce when things were just starting to get bad and was only there for five years before it started to go under.
My dad was in the garage and my oldest brother also worked in the factory.
We took our kids to one of the MF open days and saw what heavy machinery the men had to use, and was amazed at how they managed to manoeuvre them.
