ZIZZI!

I've been planning this shot for weeks now.....................Zizzi's is a pub popular with the young set and local University students, in the heart of town on a very busy main street:

I have been watching and waiting for the right female figure to be framed by that pillared doorway and underneath the Zizzi sign.

As you can see, it happened just two hours ago in the pouring rain.......... good job I keep my LX5 under my waterproof (never without a camera).............I was forced to work very quickly to get her framed just right and for an amazing and unusual gap in the traffic.

I have worked hard to add a little ....OOOMPH!, plus having to get rid of Double yellow lines and other road markings..............at last I found my.....

......... ZIZZI!

Reminds me of pur last holiday in Cornwall where I searched and searched for a Red Ruth....I found her working as a receptionist in the TATE in St Ives....that lady was very gracious and allowed me to take a series of portraits of her with bright red hair:......Love it when things come together.

Ot proves that rainy day pics are to be had:

Best viewed LARGE.....Click on Pic:

Just to show what a chance shot this was, and how busy the road is.....Zizzi was dodging traffic on the main street...an A Road:

As taken:

I had to be extremely quick on the draw!
