Recommended Posts

Spotted as I passed the local posh bakers yesterday, my favourite bites from there are the wondefuly crisp chocolaty and nutty ....Frangipans.........the window cleaner seemed to have paused to ponder the cakes....hence my title.

Not cats but cakes

I spied today,

of them

I am a nosher

But I was beaten

to the shop

by this, the

window wosher

With leather

and his

Squeegee paused,

on ladder poised....

that man.

was after .....

..... my favourite

the lovely Frangipan:

Sir Harpic Fooj.

I love Franzipans.
I will have to look out for that shop when we are over that way again.

Glad to see that you are getting a lot of use out of your 50mm lens Fuj.

I have really enjoyed my 35mm lens. I wasn't quite sure about being without the zoom when I went out with it, but I am finding the pics easier to get sharp with the static one.
It was after seeing your candids that really made my mind up.

I have a 30mm macro prime (45mm real world) and a 50mm f1.8 (75mm real world) and i would rather have these than my 18-200 or 16-50 i think about composition more because i have to use my feet to zoom and get more time per shot because it takes longer. I love the image quality from the prime lenses which tends to be better due to their simplicity.
