I am drawn to avebury and anytime i am in the Wiltshire area i have to go and have a look. It's many times the size of Stonehenge and is around a mile round with too many standing stones to count. Like these images i marvel at engineering that is sometimes many thousands of years old. Think Avebury is about 6000yrs same as Stonehenge. Nice images easy to take than it was too make these earthworks

All three shots are very well taken and serve very well the purpose of showing just how massive the earthworks are. They are huge and I shudder at the manpower needed to build them up.
