we have had fair few speckled woods fluttering around the garden this week, and a couple of hawkers too...but it is coming to an end for this year, sadly. never mind though, we are coming up to you neck of the woods next year, that's a day out to really look forward to xxx

annie... I will look forward to that, I presume WE means you and Bugs,...where I intend to take you will be a wood I know that is the best place for insects and butterflies in Herefordshire.... we might see the odd dragonfly but mostly butterflies and grasshoppers... insects in general really. Maybe we can tempt others to join us.
