The Place That I Love, Barmouth

We tried, to get a swap when our kids were still at school, but being in a council house it wasn't to easy.
We had a couple of offers. One from LLangefni and one from Shrewsbury, but not much point as they were just as far away from Barmouth.
Hubby came to Coventry from South Wales when he was six, but even though he was born in Wales there was no chance and our name was on the housing list for years for Barmouth.
When my dad dies and left my mum on her own and hubby got a job with Massey Fergusons we didn't bother.

The the kids grew up and left school, and eventually got married, and they were more important to me than moving as I couldn't have left them behind.
They enjoyed many holiidays in Barmouth with us, but it's my youngest son and his family that come for a few days while we are there.
I took about 500 pics while I was there and about 100 were of my son, his wife and our two little granddaughters.

Lovely shots Tina. We love Barmouth and all that Welsh coast. Haven't managed to get there for a couple of years so a trip is due.Love the fish & chips from the shop by by the harbour

Us too. They were even nicer this year. :yes

John is on a low fat diet for his cholesterol, but I let him have some a few times as a treat. Don't they taste nice while sitting in the little corner park?
