This gave me a few problems.

First I shot it wrongly and Sally was positioned in the frame in such a way as to make it impossible to get a good crop to put her eye on the third, so I settled for this, and hope it still works. (I wanted to keep all her colourful hair in frame)

Secondly an intruding green and white coffee cup in the background needed removing

and thirdly....    colour or mono?

if you want to try a conversion, i think b/w would work, however have a go at sepia or duo tone with a sepia or light brown tint.

i think it will look ok and depending on how much tone you use still keep some colout in the hair as well as giving the photo an oldish look.

that hair ! those lips ! they are crying out for colour photography why would you want to change it to mono and lose that ?

as for the crop have you tried losing a bit more of the background from the left hand side to have her face fill the frame a little more ?
