This year the theme was more towards the gadgets, at least today, tomorrow maybe diffrent but we wont be there and if the weather hits it will be a pity for those that are

wow they have gone well wacky this time, but I do love these guys. the imagination that goes into those costumes is fantastic....

I must admit, to being left rather cold by Goths......but ......Steam Punk.......hits a certain spot, I guess because it has a very positive and fun theme, based on the converging of old technology with contemporary thinking and science.....A quirky Jules Verne/ Way Out West mix.

A mate of mine, a graphic artist is fascinated by it, I take the Mick a bit, but can see why his creative side is sent into overdrive.....my contribution is to use the amazing.....PROCREATE APP ....on my iPad to create Steam Punk themes just fir fun......with another mate, who makes solar powered aircraft from old tins I am jointly creating a Steam Punk version.

Hi Fuzzy thanks for showing these I hope to go over to Lincoln around mid-day today but I too think the weather might spoil things. The Lincoln Steam-Punk weekend is really starting to get a hugh following and I hope the weather holds off for them.

For those who haven't explored it yet, Second Life is a wonderful virtual environment where there are more than a few steampunk fans - and of course, a virtual world can give free rein to their creativity.
