Was in Peurto Banus, near Marbella, couldn't get moved for Bentleys, Porche (common as muck!), Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini and it struck me that some of these Russian ogliarch's yachts look a little military to me, and are parked so they are difficult to photograph without getting behind the guards!! :-)

Then there are the standard superyachts

Then there is what looks like one of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.s transports (James Bond baddies)

Monaco's harbour is full of such 'gin palaces', many of them flying the British Red Ensign, probably belonging to F1 drivers, who all seem to have property there.

Like you saw in Peurto Banus, luxury cars abound.

Outside the Casino in Monaco, was a Bugatti Veyron, and you don't get much change out of a hundred quid for one of those

For those that dont do cars

The bugatti veyron is a 16 cylinder 8litre (equivilant to 4   2ltr mondaos) engined car that sells for £839000 roughly (equal to 15 jaguar xj diesel)

Completly practical, It has ten radiators (8 more than a mini) 1001 bhp (equal to 22 morris minors ) and a top speed of 253 mph (which it can sustain for 55 miles before it runs out of fuel, if the tank was full )

Oh and thats the cheap model

I seem to remember that the egregious Clarkson drove one back through France for one of those contrived "races" against Hammond and May?

there was one parked near one of the *huge* yachts - they're not even that pretty!

Annie - it was about 10 in the morning when I took the pics, and was 37 degrees c - i.e body temperature the words "bloody" and "hot" were used a lot :-)
