A new one for me, but the dolittle effect (or the aftershave) is still working. This was on a mares tail plant stem above the pond and quite happily walked onto my hand.

 

First one taken with the Sigma 105 (no flash), the other three with the MPE65 +MR14. and yes it was interesting changing lens and fitting the flash one-handed, never mind taking the shots.

Just beautiful. He is such a rich colour.

All I saw yesterday were white butterflies. The never settled for more than a second and it was windy too, so all I got was white blurs, even though I had opened the aperture quite a lot. The speed was still too slow because of the clouds.
