I tried every which way to get a nice shot of this Mayfly as I haven't managed a shot of one before. I've not really got the shot I was hoping for, the Mayfly was in rather a difficult position, hopefully I'll do better next time. I tried ringflash but that didn't seem to work as it ruined the details in the wings. This was taken with available light of which there wasn't much as the Mayfly was right in among the vegetation. I happened to see it flying to it's resting place otherwise I wouldn't have spotted it in the first place.
