Kenilworth Carnival

Recommended Posts

Hi, Nanny,

A huge thank you for this, it is very rare that I miss our local Carnival, when our kids were younger we used to take a very active art in the Fancy Dress section of the very long Procession, the Carnival Fund used to do so much to help my parents during their last years.

I haven't been able to open the Godiva Festival set you sent via Google.....any ideas on hw to please?

My son is a travelling fairs researcher and historian, he will be I particulately interested.

That reminds, me, have you any sets of old Keniworth Carnival pics? .....for the sae reason.

cheers!

FUJI

That's the first Kenilworth Carnival we have been to, Fuji and we really enjoyed it, although it was so hot.

The little girls coped so well in the hot dresses that they wore for dancing in.

The Google links opens for me, but  I can put them on Photobucket. It was such a hassle with Google.

I'll try that a bit later.

Ask him if he knows of the Fishers around the turn of the century They were my great granparents and they traveled with the Corrigans and Tubbies

In Hook cemetry (Nr Goole) is his grave stone, a big one, engraved "the worlds greatist showman " he paid for it himself mindst you
