More Practice with the Raynox

I was pottering around the garden this afternoon looking for some bugs to practice on. All I could find was these and some woodlice and eeriwigs.

I poked at the plants in pots and looked at the earth which they were planted in and all I could find interesting was this minute bright yellow spider.
I'm not sure if thepink thing was his head or another insect that her was eating. The spiders back end was about two mms.

The redundand seed head was just over half cm .

After I had shot the seed head, I noticed a few ants (at last something else that moved)

Nanny, these are seriously good, you are obviously getting the hang of using a RAYNOX......an amazing bit of kit if you persevere.............You have also done well considering the current state if your eyesight.

The spider sot is intriguing and so is the ant.

Thanks, Fuji and Annie.

I did some with Manual focus and moved the camera back and forwards and also did some with Auto Focus. Trouble is that I can't remember which :o
I think my unsteady hands give me more trouble than my eyes, Fuji as I can rely pretty well on the Auto focus.

Never mind, so long as it worked.

They are the first proper goes that I have had with the Raynox on the D3200. and I used the 55-200 Vr nikon lens.

I think I need to diffuse the flash head so  might order those clip on ones for &day shop as they were back in stock a few days ago when I looked.
