Wild Deer

Not a spectacular shot taken top end of my lens 270mm.  A good 50% crop but it's the first time I have managed to capture wild deer

Spotted driving the back roads when off to visit a friend

If I wasn't so lazy and just let my pillow leave go of me I only have about 300 yards to walk and can see them come down to the river to drink when the weather has been dry but you do have to be early , it's a regular dog walking area, I may manage it one Day

There are only six free living species of deer in the British Isles and this looks like a Roe Deer to me, if I'm correct then at least it's one of only two truly native deer.. the other being the Red Deer.
