BREAKING RULES

On Friday, our local Costa held a table book sale in aid of The Coffee Foundation, I was very pleased when I spotted half a dozen large format photography books, sadly only one was from the digital age, but no worries, two others deal specifically with Aperture and Shutter Speed, whilst the other is dedicated solely to breaking the rules by using Auto-Focus .....it appears that the ( then) fairly new fangled Autofocus cameras were poo- hood by the old school film photographers......I am reading it with new eyes and with an open mind , there is some good stuff in there.

Tonight I broke all the rules of good Macro Phtography and shot, not only Hand-Held but on Autofocus ........after a little practice it becomes second nature, I was able to get extremely close to a number of insects and ants......if you do get it right .....focus is Spot-On every time.

The proof?......You will have to wait until I have processed the pics tomorrow, I'm never in the right frame of mind in the evenings.....I am a Morning person.
