Autumn Butchers Shop

I know Ludlow well ... ‘‘tis a proper “foodie” place and we pop over every month  for a shop and smashing Fish and chip  lunch ...  I imagine the pheasants etc might have looked equally as good in colour too. Love the use of the Bicycle as a point of sale prop too.

Cheers Click, sadly we only get there every few years but I always make a bee line for this butchers as there is always a good picture to be had. This is the colour version,

Thanks for that Geoff...It looks really festive in colour with the pheasants ...looks really nice in the large version  I might have also tried it in a faded sepia vintage  look  rather that  a mono conversion ,  purely because of the   subject matter ... the old  bike  and the traditional  type of establishment . Next time you are in the area   you should give me a shout ... .. I can show you the best fish and chip Restaurant ... with silver service ....and a slice of bread and butter !

Thanks Click, I will do that, although we have no plans to go that way at the moment I have no doubt we will at some time, so I will keep your offer in mind, but we wont be staying at The Feathers? LOL

Just the sort of shop I love. We have a decent butchers in the village that we try to use as often as possible and their produce is always worth that little bit extra.

Sadly our village butchers along with most of the other shops closed down 20 years ago when Tesco open up about 3 miles away, and our village changed completely, so sad,
