Another day spent at Wakefield so to blow away the cobwebs I took Thomas and the dog for a walk on Cleadon Hills - it was a bit windy.

Is your dogs tongue really that long or is it just the angle of the shot that makes it look long?

Never thought about it but that filter is one of my favourites - must be a 70's thing :-)

 

He's got collie in him, they all seem to have long tongues.

I too wondered about the long tongue of the pooch......then I remembered an old story....( I really was told this)

In the past it was known that if you slit the tongue of a young captive Jackdaw it couldbe taught to talk like a parrot over time.

Well, there was this village character who decided he would try it on his dog......

A couple of weeks later, .he told his mates in the pub what he had done .....

They asked if it had worked...........he replied........

" Noo but 'e can lick both sides of ' is a*se at the same time"
