A GRAND DAY OUT

Yesterday, a photographer nut and I thoroughly enjoyed a half day shoot inside the ..Coventry Museum of Transport...entrance is free and none flash photography s allowed..... I suck a vintage  55-1.5 o my camera and took more conventional hots, whilst my more adventurus pal got really down to it as seen here.

How he did it I don't know, he is due for a hip replacement very soon, hence the walking stick.

The place is so full of the oldest, the best and the amazing it is all too easy to become overwhelmed.

The Jet intake is from...THRUST II The fastest car in the world ...visitors can sand literally inches from it, as you can see.

The Engine is from a LOTUS...I loved the nitty-Gritty of contrast grading this one to best effect.

After lunch we acquired special permission to photograph, at length inside the new Coventry Cathedral...over 100 pics t sort and to process.

Nice images FUJI. Number 2 looks like a pretty powerful bit of kit    It’s a fine mono with an enjoyable range of tones.
