I really like the shape, and the colouring, and I wanted to try something a little different with it...

I am with you on this one.  Like both.  The shapes stand out really well in the black void.  Maybe a tighter crop at the top of number one?  But that is nit picking.  Really interesting images for me.

I like this too... Though I prefer the extra space around the first image ..... Nicely lit  too...

In truth I couldn't, and still can't, decide which of the two I like more - the first has a sense of space and void around it, whilst the second feels more claustrophobic.

Looking at the first I think it could do with just a smidge cropped off from the right hand side...
