The extreme haircut on the guy on the right caused me to smile broadly...why?

 

Because it is exactly the style the Army FORCED we National Service conscripts  to suffer n the 1950 s....I witnessed 19-22 year old men (just like these) shedding real tears after their luxurious Teddy-Boy locks had been butchered.....and today, just like ...holes in the knees pants they are the height of fashion....Nowt so daft as folk!
