I've taken some shots of Bowerman's Nose before but to be a bit different I decided this time to use a longer lens and take it as a portrait, closer up.

Last shot for me. I know its more conventional but the balance works and the foreground rocks give it a good sense of environment.

The first shot would have worked if you could have thrown the background further out of focus to really separate the rock from it.
