On seeing the first sign of spring

I saw the beads of dew on a tiny plant in a pot on our yard this morning so went and pointed a lens at it. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular and wasn't disappointed except, if you look very closely down in the bottom right, there is the feint beginnings of a pink carnation flower beginning. The first sign of spring here and still January.

(Apologies to Fred Delius for paraphrasing his title.)

I might just make it Clicker as we are only forecast for -1 and only for a short time. I thought it deserved it's time in the limelight for it's bravery which I why I posted it.

Ooh why not a plastic bag over it tonight or if it's a pot ... maybe just take it in the garage for the night ..

Wow . I'm attributing feelings to a flippin carnation/ pink now... A bit like you recognising its bravery ... Lol
