Parblo A610 Graphics Tablet

Got myself one of these arriving today. Cheap as chips so not expecting the greatest quality. I just came across this graphics tablet whist looking around the net and thought why not try one? Anyway, here goes.

Anyone else using a graphics tablet? Any tips?

What do you want to create with it Kev?

 

Drawings, Paintings, Diagrams, Cartoons, Abstract, Photo Editing?

 

If it is a tablet which lays flat beside your vertical pic monitor, then you will need to learn, how to look at the monitor and not the tablet as you work.....it becomes second nature after a time.

What do I want to do with it?  Open to anything. Yep it's laying flat in front of the iMac.

I have an iPad Pro, so use an Apple Pencil directly on the screen.....just amazing......below is an example of what can be done.....I used to create similar things using my WACOM graphics tablet.

Bought one years ago as I was convinced by others that it was the second coming - tried it - played with it - explored what it could do - went back to using a mouse and have never looked back.

I'm a photographer not a graphic designer or artist so for me I simply don't need or want the functions a tablet input offers.

However I would say to do as I did - try it.

And that is why I got it - to try it.  

I am liking the pressure sensitive touch.  That is pretty neat for layers work.
