The other day I decided to change my PC wallpaper....I searched my hundreds of back files and re-discovered this 2010 shot of early Autumn leaves just about hanging on to their branch. I have begun to appreciate the shot more and more since using it as pC wallpaper, it seems to create a sense of Peace and Tranquility:

I was using a vintage M42 1.7/50mm Lens with a Sony Adaptor.......I love the colour, DOF and BOKEH this very old lens has produced...........it is well worth trawling Ebay for them:

HI Fuji,

I still have a few of these old but wonderful M42 threaded lenses that I use on my Pentax K100D using a adapter ring. Im thinking of getting a M42 adaptor for my Canon 1100D EOS.I dont know but when your holding a M42,you feel as if you holding a REAL lens somehow.

 Great shot BTW.

I bought and M42 300mm lens from the Disabled Photographers stall at the Focus on Imaging about three years ago for £5 and took a few blackbird shots to practice, and then my friend borrowed it as she had been given a Nikon DSLR body and she wanted to try it out before buying lenses for it.
I has now come back, so I lust dig it out and have a mess around with it.
I did find that the pics had a bluish tinge on them but this was easily fixed with editing.
