One for Fuji?

Hi Fuji, came across this one for photostacking on an unexpected site for making knives:-

Incidentally it should be depth of field in front of the lens to the subject in the article, depth of focus is correctly from the rear of the lens to the sensor.

Yes, a lot of people don't realise that a reversed enlarger lens like the 2.8 50mm EL Nikkor is better that a conventional macro lens at those magnifications. I picked one up a couple of years ago on EBAY for about £25 when everybody was getting rid of darkroom equipment, but I note there must now be some demand for them as they have gone up on EBAY, though the inferior f4 sells much cheaper. You need to use step up rings and a lens reversal ring on the camera or bellows to reverse them though, but these too are available cheaply on EBAY.

Why mount a conventional lens backwards when it is working much above 1:1?  Simply because it is designed to have it's rear element nearer the sensor (or negative for an enlarger lens) and it's front element further from the subject (printing paper in the case of an enlarger lens).  Therefore in higher magnification macro work the distance to the sensor becomes greater when extended on bellows or extension tubes than to the subject, so reversing the lens restores it to the correct relationships it was designed for.  Here is an example of a lash-up with an enlarger lens just reversed on a point and shoot camera:-
