This was a bit of a deviation from my usual Street Shot yesterday......I had that vintage lens focus spot on, so decided to do a dramatic Town Shot.

This is the ...Kenilworth Clock Tower....at the top end of our small town......the top of the tower, like the most of what is in the scene behind me were totally destroyed by  a nazi Parachute Land Mine during the Blitz, sadly a number of Coventry evacuees, plus local residents,  including my pal's grandparents lost their lives. The top end of town was a Bomb-Site until the mid 1960 s ...it consists of a rather ugly shopping precinct now, surrounding the market area.

You would never know about the carnage of the war from the photo, now, Fuji. They've done a wonderful restoration job....and you've done a great job of recording it. Without the cars, it could almost be a wartime shot.
