A couple of shots from the museum.

As it was cold and damp today we took a bus into town and went to the Herbert Museum and Art Gallery.

We had a look round and I got a few shots

I don't particularly like the idea of animals being stuffed but they were so beautiful and one day, it may be that this is all that will be left to see of some species, what with the culling, poisonous sprays and hunting.

The Eagle was quite high up, nearly to the ceiling and I didnt think any of the shots would be any good.

I cloned out the post that was supporting it and the shadow of the post and cropped a bit. I gave up after trying to blend the last tiny bit, so it won't be perfect, but it gave me something to do other than going through my old shots.

Thanks for the comments. It was a bit eye-straining but fun doing number 3.

I would have liked to get more of the violin shadow in but couldn't get the clong to work too well on some other parts so cropped a bit off.

I haven't had time to see what else is any good. Couldn't get past some of the reflections or get the whole of most of the animals in the shot because of having to press the lens against the glass.
