On The Cliffs Edge

To this on Beachy Head Eastbourne the other day. Just amazes me how stupid some people are when trying to take photo's up on these cliffs. Some area's are undercut on the chalk cliffs I would not go within 6ft of the edge.On The Cliffs Edge.jpg

Idiots both!

The kind of morons who, waste the time of our precious emergency services, or, grouse, when bad things happen because of their own recklessness.........

and when they fall it will be the councils fault for not putting a sign up up saying high cliffs are dangerous. I think we should remove all signs stating the obvious, like may contain nuts on bags of peanuts and let natural selection do its job

Lets not get too upset about these people

If the cliff gives way it gives way, yes the rescue squad would be there and more prepared to effect a rescue

BUT what I dont want to see is the gang of perceived danger swinging into action

Taking this  too an extreme they would have all the coast fenced off, just think of the dangers, tides, cliffs, sand, jelly fish
All the forests the same. No public events etc etc

Now I know this wont happen but a diluted version can and is happenjng under the disguise of health and safety
So let these drop off the cliff or not but lets not shout about their actions too loud
I value my freedom to do just about most things I wont to do and dont like it being curbed
