"'TIS a DAMP SEAT M'DEAR"

It was absolutely chucking it down in Stamford yesterday morning, I was forced to buy a cheap, cover all Poncho to keep myself and my camera dry.

This pair of shoppers didn't seem to care that the seat was wet...their shopping done, all they wanted was to rest their weary legs:

Absolutely brilliant... I just love how she has took the supermarket trolley with her.... I hope she doesn't ditch it in the canal lol

Thank you Mitch for appreciating my pics; shooting this was a .....no brainier.....really......it hadn't been the first time that I was forced to duck under my tent like poncho, to expose camera and lens to horrendous conditions.

The ladies seemed to be oblivious to the continuous pouring rain; it amused me that both chatted underneath open umbrellas......that seat MUST have been soaked!

I really wish that camera manufacturers would make all decent cameras and lenses waterproof; Im sure that it can't be too difficult nowadays?

nice the umbrellas convey the rain well

As an after thought would a high shutter speed have caught the actual rain and added another dynamic

Judy she would have been waiting for a taxi, probably you rich people in Warwickshire have personal transport with your fancy drive in M&S's and dont come across this often   just saying :money:

I like the older Lady with what appears to be one bag (ok maybe two) in a shopping trolly while the other lady has three large bags and a 'push me - pull me' type thing to struggle home with - nice spot Fuji.
