IN Flight

The 70D is amazing.... but I may have taken the skill out of Photography?

I know the I may have got this shot with the 1100D but it would have taken a long time, with the 70 it was quite easy.

Hi, Leon,

well done you!

Its not so easy, catching birds in flight, I have posted quite a few on TIPF, in the past, our resident flock of Black Headed Gulls, at the pool, fly very fast and very close, especially during winter whilst being fed in winter time.

I set a high ISO, Focus on tracking, then fire away, using my Tamron 70-300, or, on my M 4/3 A 200MM LENS...._it is a great photographic exercise to catch any bird in flight clearly and in the right spot in the frame.
