MAKING THE BEST OF THINGS

During the last few months I have neglected to download shots from my beautiful little Panasonic LX5, the one with the bright Leica lens....I had fallen out with it after a series of very poor results:

I just couldnt work it out...until the other day...I downloaded then attempted to process the noisiest batch of picturesIve ever produced...this is just one example:

On investigation, I discovered that I had stupidly left the ISO very high after that distant wedding shoot; sadly the LX5 doesnt seem to cope with very high ISO figures, so most shots taken with those settings have been wasted:

This one though, I thought, had potential..................I had tried to cach the lass up, but she was across he road before I could ask permission for a special photograph......Her superb hair and that amazing jacket had attracted my arty side.....sooo...I did the best I could:

This is the cropped result of one of the noisy shots manipulated in CS3 and then Tickled in TOPAZ Filters, to pop the colour and to add texture....I like it.......but do you?

Comments please?

The Moral of this story?

very noisy shot which is a shame as I love the composition. I once spent a whole day shooting only to find when I got home that the camera had been on iso 1600 all the time and the shots were rubbish
