Still playing with some of the shots I grabbed while out working in Northumberland yesterday.

To get this I had to pull the car up onto the verge, open the passenger door, stand on the sill and use the articulated screen (angled down) to get the camera high enough to clear the hedge. I feel there's something just a little sinister about these towers so went with a very strong crop and central positioning then pushed the drama using Nik  SEP2.

Thanks - got it - I've been around Tanwell Woods.  The road beyond Mitord has some interesting bits as well!. I've been shooting the Wansbeck from source to sea for a few years now - still need some more!

I instantly thought of the ....'TRIPODS'.........TV series......a good one.

Your central composition really works here, it proves that it can be very successful..

I'm very impressed by the mono results your camera is creating, especially if you haven't processed the shots in any other way.
