Light Boxing

Finally a boxing gig with a good view point and decent lighting. I know some of you don't like this kind of sport so I will just post a couple, more on my web site if you fancy a look.

I stood in for their regular guy, hoping I might sell a few, but I had a good night either way.

I'm not a boxing fan either, in fact where physical stuff is concerned I'm right at the other end of the spectrum. And I suppose that sort of clouds my judgement as normally I'd never even give this kind of photography a second glance. I really can't understand why two people would want to knock seven bells out of each other.

Sorry to be negative on these, Colin, but on a slightly positive note, I appreciate that boxing must be a bloody difficult subject to photograph.

Better two people knocking seven bells in a ring rather than the drink fuelled fools attacking innocent folk on the high street Korky.

The photography aspect is far from easy but I have to say I find the people involved in this sport are very friendly and willing and able to listen and help you if they can. I spent most of the night next to a company shooting videos with two high end cameras in the room and sound equipment. No rivalry from any of them, I've had wedding togs give off more attitude!
