I couldn't resist a snap of this  Triumph TR5 Roadster parked on the quayside  over the weekend .... It was  I think the first petrol  fuel-injected  production line sportscar in Britain c 1968... the year I got married ....

Hi Richard... having a break from your DIY ..:lol: Makes me a bit nostalgic  though,  looking at cars that have aged better than I  have ...:cry:

This was made a short walk away from where we live.

It was a sad day when they knocked the factory down and built Sainsburys and a business park.

Not to be forgotten though, as the streets which are now on the site are called after the different cars and the factory.

John, my brother and brother-in-law all worked there until being made redundant.
