AV Slide show...?

My camera club has been asked if we could do a photographic exhibition in a local new community centre. I and a few others have been asked if we can supply some prints which is no problem and maybe an AV. I have been trying to put one together in Elements but wondered if there was maybe a better way ? Your ideas please.

Lightroom does a pretty good job of creating a slideshow - and on the Mac, there's a great piece of software called FotoMagico which does a superb job and allows you to save the slideshow as an stand-alone file to run on any Mac.

However, I seem to remember you're a Windows user so that's probably of no use at all unless you have Mac users at the club and they're prepared to shell out some dosh for something as prestigious as an exhibition.

Thanks Korky, but yes I am a windows 8.1 user, there must be something I can use which won't cost the earth.....
