Stopped to take this on the way home tonight after taking  ten year grandson home after having him to spoil for a week!

After four grey, wet and  windy days we had some welcome sunshine today ....

Thank you  both ...I took about 30 pics at various places on the way home ... A lot had the ubiquitous lens flare  to a greater or lesser degree  despite  my efforts to avoid it ...  but shooting into the sun with a lens flare can look acceptable  sometimes  ... I just haven't manged it yet ...lol

Hi Ron  and Kev .... it's a very ordinary, everyday day scene I suppose... driven past  on the side of the road  by scores of cars every hour.  .I just took the time to stop in a layby a couple of hundred yards after I drove past and walked back .. Ten minutes later and the  sun had set and i probably would not have had that smattering of light to show the foreground ... yer win some yer lose some....  at least that 's  how it goes for me ...;) Thanks  for your positive comments  ... hope it didn't send you to sleep  though Kev:happy: This one was taken a few minutes before about a mile away... I could barely see over the hedge ....
