5.6 km's later......

Went on a circular walk yesterday with  other half, son and 10 year old grandson ...We did just under 8 kms in total and climbed 57 metres during the jaunt according to the "map my walk" app on the phone.This was taken after 5.6 kms ...... I stopped on the pretext  of taking some photos.... ahem .... phew ! There was a cool breeze and a super view when we reached the top of this hill ..... pic courtesy of my iPhone ...  though I took my FZ 1000  too !

Edited on iPhone too in Photoshop express..

Tried to capture those ahead of me on the brow of the hill but they were just too quick  for me and only caught a bit of them ...

Here's the view  from my Iphone when I go to the top and looked back whence I came ....Sky has blown  bit looking into the sun but ... hey ..pretty pleased as usual with what iPhone can do ...

Brings back memories of walking to a route by Arthur Rastrick 

It stated "walk to the end of the lane and turn right by the wood and wire fence"

I was totally confused as I couldnt find any trees at all, much to the amusement of my companions 

I sometimes think I am in a parallel universe

Thank you very much Colin... wow that's kind of you to say  .....are you referring to the first  or second one ....So I  know which one to lavish my attention on ...lol

Not that many  of the hill variety of scenes in Lincolnshire is there ... Mind you, that said ... the Wolds in the north can compete. This walk was just  between Kemberton and Shifnal in Shropshire .
