A FULL FLAPS LANDING

Our usually docile pool will be joined by the raging torrent of the overflowing brook today, the ford has been impassable to almost every vehicle for three days now, and no way will I be able to take a shot like this, because the footpath is under water.

The flooding has always been a natural part of town life, and (thankfully) most houses and businesses are above the medieval flood plain (thank goodness for Medieval foresight) ....and just recently the flooding of certain low lying parts have been cured by a huge investment in flood relief tanks.

Back to my pic......I have been delighted with the ...bIrd-In-Flight ....settings as learned from a YouTube video recently...they really work, as demonstrated here......A Black Headed Gull doing a Full Flap Landing:
