A gull following the ferry out of Zeebrugge:

Nice sharp image, it looks like a Great black-back Gull. It could be a Lesser black-back, hard to say without something in the shot for scale.

Cheers John. Not done many bird shots. Quite enjoyed it although I guess this was not the most challenging of images to capture.

We are all different... thank goodness! To me there is nothing qiuite like finding and stalking an unusual species to photograph, sometimes the grab/bum shots give a certain satisfaction... just like my recent 'Naff shots' of Silver-washed Fritillaries. I still have the marks of the brambles on my arms...

I like to try my hand at most things, but i am a sucker for French architecture. Don't know why mind you.
